Ms. Jamie Carnahan- Our Head Dance Teacher & Junior Company Teacher

Miss Jamie is a proud mom of two girls, one boy, bonus mom to three boys and fiancée to her best friend Erik. When she isn't busy with family or teaching dance, she's being a nanny and using her culinary education to bake delicious goodies!
Jamie was introduced to dance by her aunt at age 3 and it was instant love! She danced for 14 years with Rec programs across the county, competed, and spent several years assistant teaching dance during and post-high school.
Dance found a new place in Jamie's life in her twenties as she participated in a small theater group that put on an annual New Years Eve musical. Eventually she took over choreography for this group, teaching adults of all skill levels how to have fun through dance! Her hope was to always find an outlet for her passion for dance.
When the time came to move back to the area, Jamie reconnected with her childhood friend and fellow dancer who invited Jamie to join her teaching with Kingsville Dance.  When a teaching position became available at Bear Creek, it was a natural choice to pursue and Jamie has been thrilled to call this program her dance home since 2018. With each season she has grown to adore her dancers, their families, fellow teachers, volunteers and this wonderful community at Bear Creek. Jamie looks forward to growing with this program for years to come!
